MTT-Mega Rigid Frame Truck Tank water tank kits are designed for conversion of off-highway type, rigid frame, dump truck chassis with carrying capacities between 40 and 320 tons into water hauling distribution machines for dust and fire suppression. The MTT kit requires a dealer/customer supplied truck chassis. Factory installation and testing is available on some models. Field installation assistance by factory trained Product Support personnel is also available.  These attach to specific Komatsu models.

The MTT model is designed to fit a customer specified and provided truck chassis. MTT tank models can be factory installed and tested at our facility but are generally shipped in kit form for field installation at either the customer shop facility or on the work site.

Mega tanks are constructed with high quality materials and are thoroughly inspected both during and after the manufacturing process to ensure the best tank spray system in the market today. Every tank kit includes full manuals for installation, operation, maintenance and parts. Mega maintains complete stocks of repair and replacement parts and components available for immediate shipment. We also offer support parts kits for every model of tank we make.

• Access Ladder with Hand Rails: Access Ladder with Hand RailsMega tanks include an access ladder to the top of the tank. Our standard ladder features tread grip rungs for a sure-footed grip and hand rails at the top of the ladder allowing safe access to the top of the tank.

The epoxy lining is well suited for harsh, acidic, alkaline, and salty waters. Urethane lining is very effective in normal to salty waters. Coating data sheet and MSDS available upon request.
• Replaceable Magnesium Anodes: Magnesium Anodes Placed Inside Tank CompartmentsMega offers replaceable magnesium anodes for both new tanks as well as kit form to retrofit existing tanks. These pencil-type sacrificial anodes help extend the life of the tank by protecting it from corrosion and are threaded to allow for easy inspection. Replacement is simple as the external mounting location eliminates the need for confined space operations.

• Splash Guard: Splash Guard On Top Of Chassis The splash guard is designed to prevent water from splashing onto the chassis deck and cab area. This feature is located near the front edge of the tank.
• Suction Loading: Suction LoadingSuction loading provides tanks with self-loading ability via the discharge pump priming reservoir or a separate, self-priming water pump. Suction loading is used to fill the tank from a natural or man-made reservoir. Discharge pump configurations include an auxiliary manual priming pump, and require customer-provided suction hose. Self-priming pump configurations include storage tubes and hose.

• Water Channel and Ducktail: Water Channel and DucktailA water channel from the fill port to the rear of the tank diverts water overflow towards the rear of the tank. This is designed to reduce the amount of water splashed onto the chassis deck and cab area.
