Kirby-Smith Machinery Opens New Branch in McAlester, Oklahoma
Kirby-Smith Machinery Inc.'s newest facility in McAlester, Okla., is open for business. The McAlester office will provide new and existing customers in southeastern Oklahoma with a customer-focused dealership experience, including new and used equipment inventory for sale and rent, one of the largest and most efficient parts inventories in the region, and reliable service in the shop and field, according to the company — all at the local level.
The McAlester office will also improve coverage options for customers located geographically between the heavy equipment distributor's Tulsa and Dallas branches.
"We are very excited about our newest branch location in McAlester," said Jeff Weller, chief operating officer and executive vice president. "It is strategically located to ensure that existing and new customers in southeastern Oklahoma will receive the care they deserve. We see a lot of positive growth on the 75 corridor in both Oklahoma and Texas, and this McAlester office will fill in the distance that existed between Tulsa and Dallas."
McAlester will carry the same manufacturing lines as its sister branches in Oklahoma City and Tulsa.
Kirby-Smith Machinery is the authorized dealer throughout Oklahoma of Komatsu earthmoving equipment, including excavators, bulldozers, wheel loaders, dump trucks and motor graders.
It also is the dealer of the Wirtgen Group line of roadbuilding equipment, Takeuchi compact equipment, Terramac crawler carriers, and Manitowoc Cranes, including Grove and National Crane, among many other leading manufacturers.
Salesmen for the area include territory manager Ron Allen and product support representative Brian DeVore. Branch operations will be managed by Bruce Taylor.
A grand opening event for McAlester will be held in Spring 2019. The branch is located at 4617 Powell St., McAlester, OK 74501 and can be reached at 918/310-1550.
