Electric Hydraulic Compact Excavator

Takeuchi is pleased to introduce our latest innovative product, the TB20e Lithium-Ion battery powered compact excavator.  The TB20e features zero emission, low noise operation making it ideal for applications such as neighborhoods, municipalities, schools, and hospitals.  It features an onboard charger that can not only charge the machine at the end of the workday, but it can also be used to extend your uptime by allowing the TB20e to operate while tethered.  An offboard charger is available and it can charge the TB20e in a relatively short amount of time.   The TB20e is a rugged excavator that features the same all steel construction, and heavy-duty design as all other Takeuchi excavators.  It is equipped with a long arm and thumb bracket as well as a retractable undercarriage which allows it to work in areas with very limited access.

For customers wanting to reduce their carbon footprint while still being able to get jobs done on time and with minimal downtime, the Takeuchi TB20e provides an abundance of productivity and a reduction of overall operating costs that are associated with traditional construction equipment.

The TB20e is the latest innovation in the Takeuchi excavator lineup. This fully electric machine is built with the same all steel construction, heavy duty boom and durable undercarriage as all of our excavators. The TB20e comes standard with outstanding operator comfort, easy daily maintenance points, retractable undercarriage, and an on-board charger for simple recharging after the workday. On a full charge the TB20e will run for approximately 8 hours at 65% load. Going fully electric with the TB20e will provide an abundant amount of productivity for operators by reducing downtime by delaying routine maintenance and reduce overall operating costs that comes with traditional construction equipment.

    • 100% Lithium-Ion battery power ensures zero emission operation making the TB20e ideal for working in a wide range of applications that include food processing facilities, indoor demolition, hospitals, and schools.
    • Reduced noise and vibration levels enable the operator to work in areas sensitive to noise pollution.
    • Impressive run times and the ability to operate while tethered ensure you can complete jobs in a timely and efficient manner.
    • The onboard charger allows the TB20e to be charged using 95v – 265v single phase power.
    • An available offboard charger will charge the TB20e using 408v to 552v three phase power.

    • All operational controls such as key switch, speed control, joysticks, blade, and travel levers are the same as the diesel powered TB216.
    • A standard long arm provides the operator with a wider working range and dig depth while the thumb mount enables a thumb to be installed easily enhancing the machines capability.
    • Load sensing, two speed travel will shift from low torque/high speed mode to high torque/low speed automatically when turning, pushing, or traveling up an incline.
