Kirby-Smith Machinery service technicians receive over 80 hours of factory training and OTJ training each year, earning OEM certifications that validate their mastery of critical systems and service procedures. Whether it's rebuilding engines, performing precision calibrations, or troubleshooting intelligent telematics, we are committed to provided you with the skills and knowledge to be among the best in the industry.

Fast-Track Program

Kirby-Smith Machinery offers a paid training program for technicians with 3+ years' experience as a heavy-duty diesel technician from recognized equipment manufacturers, as well as transitioning military with appropriate experience in hydraulics, electrical, etc.

  • 16-week program with alternating 2-week rotations between OSUIT/home shop.
  • 9 Komatsu-specific training classes.
  • Paid housing, meal plan, and mileage reimbursement.
