The W8L winch extends the W6F winch design to higher horsepower dozers used in tropical forestry, pipeline construction and mining applications. It is the only PTO winch on the market available to support such a wide range of dozer models. The PTO winch delivers nearly 100 percent of the dozer horsepower to the wire rope, permitting both high line pull and high line speed as needed for a wide variety of applications, all with no heat load to the dozer hydraulic system.

• Fabricated frame-All frames are fabricated at the factory with box-section sides for incredible strength and rigidity.
• Built-in rigid drawbar-Built-in drawbar provides maximum strength for towing.
• Brake-off-Brake and clutches are disengaged to allow dozer to drive away from the tethered load. Gear train drag keeps the wire rope taut to prevent “bird nesting”.
   

• Control Options (Pilot Hydraulic/EH)-inch may be controlled using existing tractor implement controls. Allied has winch control options for tractors equipped with Pilot Hydraulic and E/H controls.
• Gearing-We offer a wide variety of gear ratios to meet many different line speed requirements.
• Fairlead-Designed for maximum line pull from all angles. Strong vertical and horizontal rollers to reduce wire rope damage.
• Extreme Duty Drum Seals-Keep sand, mud and water out of your winch in extreme working conditions.
• Low Temp Seals-Low temperature seals allow Allied Winches to operate easily in arctic conditions.
