The Allied H12E winch extends the widely accepted design of the H6H winch to the largest class of crawler dozers that use a towing winch. The H12E winch brings together the best of field-proven engineering and modern hydraulic capability to deliver a winch unrivaled in this size class. With precise control over line speed and line position, the H12E has found great success in pipelaying operations on steep slopes and in high line-pull applications such as railroad wreck recovery. The robust design of the winch frame can support side pulls without requiring a fairlead, to permit greater visibility of the winch drum and wire.

• Fabricated frame-All frames are fabricated at the factory with box-section sides for incredible strength and rigidity.
• Precise line speed control-Feather adjustment of line speed is possible with electronic controls.
• Brake-off-Brake and clutches are disengaged to allow dozer to drive away from the tethered load. Gear train drag keeps the wire rope taut to prevent “bird nesting”.
   

• Control Options (Pilot Hydraulic/EH)-inch may be controlled using existing tractor implement controls. Allied has winch control options for tractors equipped with Pilot Hydraulic and E/H controls.
